Drake -- Serving in Bydgoszcz, Poland!

Hey Mom,
So I am in Poland! Where everybody speaks Polish.
I am in a city called Bydgoszcz, which is kind of in the Northwest part of Poland. You should look it up, look up pictures and stuff.

The branch here is actually pretty strong.
There are multiple families and lots of youth, which is awesome.

Starszy Harris and me
We do a LOT of contacting here in Poland looking for people to teach. We just walk around the city all day and try to talk to people but almost everybody doesn't want to talk to us.
So we do a LOT of walking.

It looks a lot like Germany here. So when I am walking up and down cobblestone streets walking by old buildings and churches it makes me feel like maybe that's what it was like for Dad on his mission. And that's fun to think.

We actually have 2 baptismal dates. A man named Robert is supposed to get baptized this Saturday, so we hope that all works out.
We are also teaching an 11 year old boy whose mother is a member. His name is Adam. He is supposed to get baptized in two weeks.
So we have 4 investigators altogether.

That's why we are constantly doing street contacting, because we need to find more people to teach, because we like never have lessons.
So we're trying to find people all the time! So pray for us!

Love,
Elder Allen

Amsterdam Airport (layover)

P.S. from Renee -- The mission president went to their Zone Conference yesterday in Bydgoszcz, which means they did a blog post about it with more pictures and happenings with Drake!  One even explains that tight-rope walking sculpture up over the river!  Click here for the mission blog.

Also, if you want to hear how to say "Bydgoszcz," James showed me this morning that you can do it in Google Translate.  Try this link., then click the sound  or "Listen" button at the bottom right hand corner of the white box.  Then try saying it!  Not an easy thing!
